What Do I Do With Dirty Diapers Between Washings?

When you change baby’s diaper, knock any solids into the toilet and then store soiled diapers in an open air pail with a lined with a washable liner or in a hanging diaper pail (called a wet bag) to let air circulate. A closed pail will concentrate odors making them worse and may cause mold if you let the diapers sit too long between washings.bummis-wet-bag-group-large-5408_bmprd_lf

We highly recommend the FuzziBunz® “In and Out Mess Free” diaper bag as it washes easily right along with the diapers and requires nearly NO touching of the dirty diapers since you can unzip the bottom of the bag and simply shake the soiled diapers right into your washer.

You do not need to use a wet pail to soak your diapers in water or any other solution between washings.  This is no longer necessary with todays modern cloth diapers and it is a drowning hazard for curious toddlers.
